hellooooo world! My name is Shari and I am bringing in Peter Rumancek from Hemlock Grove. Who is kind of a little shit sometimes, but he means pretty well. Normally. Most notably, he's a werewolf, and thanks to a magic spell ( rip Casper :c ) he can now transform whenever he wants. But it's not pretty or fun, 0/10 do not recommend. He's also taken from a godawful point in his canon but it's okay!! since snow is the best and gave me a girlfriend. ♥

I was accepted into this lovely game months ago but due to moving and various other distractions I haven't actually had a chance to play, let alone introduce myself. Hello everyone! I'm Lissa, I'm brand sparkly new to Atlantis, and I'm bringing in this fabulous genius/painter/inventor, Leonardo da Vinci from the Assassin's Creed games. He's a joy to play and I really look forward to starting once I do a little bit of background reading to catch up on Atlantis. One note: since da Vinci himself is a historical figure outside the game, fourth walling him (as the real person) is allowed and even encouraged. He'd love to hear about how famous he's become (even if it's just as 'that old guy that painted that funny looking lady in the museum').

Katana here (Castiel's player; currently just these 2), bringing this troublemaker back into the game. It was not me previously playing him so I hope I don't unintentionally step on any toes!

This Loki is arriving from early in the Thor film, before his breakdown, before he discovers Daddy's Little Secret about his past. If you tell him he is adopted, he will not be happy. Looking at you, Thor. :[ He won't expect the Avengers to automatically hate him, and anyone else that may have been heckled by his previous appearance in ALC is welcome to pester him, too! He's got some Norse mythology mixed in for history in how I play him, and powers resembling Loki in Marvel comicverse since the films don't do a whole lotta expanding. Fourthwalling, every shenanigan, and any question is welcome.~

Loki arrived during the inauspicious time of the final day of the Croatoan Virus, so he's been here a few days. I have been thinking of putting up a backdated action post for the purpose of introducing him to the scenery.

So this is Kimmie bringing in Abigail Hobbs from NBC's Hannibal. I'm pulling her from after episode 9, and her admission. Her bio dad killed people and made her get involved with it. Then Will Graham found him and killed him, but not before some asshole alerted him that Will was coming. So Garrett Jacob Hobbs killed his wife and had Abigail at knife point, so she has this scar across her neck. Now Abigail climbs the wall of her psychiatric hospital and eats fancy dinners with her two dads.

And everything is sunshine and rainbow and that finale did not hurt my soul at all.

I dropped Shilo Wallace, but I'll be keeping Lizzie Liddell and my OC, Alice Pemberton.

Hello everyone! I'm Lissa, I was enabled here by the lovely Katana, and I'm bringing in the genius inventor, master artist, and energetic derp known as Leonardo da Vinci from the Assassin's Creed series. He's coming from relatively early in 2, before he left Florence/Firenze. Since he is Italian I'll probably be using some of his native language, much like how it was done in the games. I'll do my best to remember to put translations in as hover text but much of it will be cognates....or words that shouldn't be translated anyway. If you'd prefer I don't use Italian in tags with you at all, just let me know!

Sup. I'm Kimmie and Forest and Spy and like three other people enabled me here. I like me some tragic characters. So I'm bringing in Godric from True Blood, Beatrice Baudelaire from A Series of Unfortunate Events

Godric is from after he died. So he just met the sun. He's a two thousand year old vampire who is tired of his species. He is pretty much the most un-vampire you'll ever meet. He's also Eric's maker, and another vampire we just met in s5 named Nora. As a human he was Gaullic, his people more tribe like. He has a bad past with becoming a vampire, and pretty much believes he can't be redeemed.

Beatrice Baudelaire also is from post-death. She was pretty much kidnapped into this secret society that is more an allegory for society as a whole. She was a part of some of it's best years and also it's decline. There was a schism, it went badly. She was also the lover of Lemony Snicket before marrying her husband. Every book has an ode to Beatrice, and they are all horribly depressing. Her children are the protagonists of the series. We never actually see her in the books, but we know a lot about her between The Unauthorized Autobiography and the Beatrice Letters.

Hello, Atlantis! This is Katana, player of Castiel, letting you know I'm bringing three others to the party.

• DANNY FENTON/PHANTOM from Danny Phantom
14 years old; your typical dorky, lazy teenage type with inventive ghost hunters for parents. Thanks to a lab accident, he is half ghost. Also, he hunts ghosts himself. There is a lot of ghosting going on in his life. He has a wide array of ghost powers, all available to him as he comes from the end of season 3.

• BOLT from Disney's Bolt
Fluffy white American shepherd dog who, up until recently, thought he was a hero with super powers, like super strength and super speed.....and heat vision. He's still missing his person (Penny) and hasn't figured out how to be a normal dog and do normal dog things yet.

• SPIKE from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
A big, bad vampire - THE Big Bad, to be precise, except he recently got a chip implanted in his skull by a bunch of goodie-goodie tin soldiers and can't do anything violent toward humans. If you're not human, he will probably try to take out some aggression on you at some point. Also will need to find a source of blood not requiring violent means of acquisition so that he doesn't starve.

Hello! I am Spy, and a certain Jess has indicated to me that all the cookies are kept here. Obviously, I had to come check this out.

Turns out there are several people here I already know and adore, but I'm looking forward to playing with the rest of you!

I bring you the following ~~sacrificial lambs for cookies~~ people:

Morgana: She's from BBC's Merlin and she'll be washing up with a great deal of surprise, and suppressed rage given her ~~tragic character development~~ experiences with no one ever acknowledging she has a point. She doesn't deal with that well. Perhaps being away from Camelot will help. It's not as though anyone she knows is here -- oh, wait.

Lemony Snicket: The character you are about to be introduced to is extremely unpleasant. If you do not like depressed authors, frequent use of synonyms, or searches for sugar bowls, now would be the best time to escape to somewhere happier, like Russian literature, or an Ingmar Bergman film festival. He will wash up on the beach and leave a note asking for information in a particular library book about the history of Italian Food.

Those two are it, for now, and thank you for letting me on the secret of the cookies!

Well, hulloooooooo Atlantis.

Mel here, a ridiculous someone who favours historical fiction and watching programs that give me feelings I didn't want or ask for. I climb trees and write horrid poetry in them, and when nobody is home, I sing loudly (but on key, thank you.)

- Insert comment about being "new" or "fresh meat" here - Rosemarie was my golden ticket in, and boy oh boy, I am a lucky girl.

My little darling, the lovely boy who will be wandering about wondering how in hell he managed to stumble his way into bloody Atlantis from Cambridge, is William Lawedre. He's a law student at Downing College in Cambridge University, one with a natural knack for easy charms and the social swing of things. He reads the fine print and understands the art of bartering and negotiating far beyond the narrow confines of UK laws. He's the sort of twenty-something that is in the process of balancing out everything in life, and the one thing going for him is that he's played that sort of part in everything else for all his previous years.

He uses humour and an inviting grin to stave off the more unpleasant things in life. He can be a bit wry, but altogether he's really a brighter spirited guy. He is curious, and challenging. Competitive. He loves playing games, particularly Devil's Advocate. He tends to strut the line between cheeky and charming all too comfortably, and he likes trouble. His chosen poison is a gin martini (with lots of those pesky and pickier instructions), he socially smokes Capstan cigarettes, and he's nearly always toting a black fedora hat wherever he goes.

William will really just be what I think most poor souls nowadays would be if thrust in such a unique situation to start: pissed off his cell phone doesn't work. It will mostly be entertaining watching him wonder how the devil he got there.

It'll be a pleasure. :)

Hello all! I'm Brennan, and I'm new around here (by which i mean Dreamwidth and the world of rp) thanks to Rose. I'm utterly clueless but I'll be trying my best to bring you all my rendition of Captain Delphine Angua Von Uberwald (call her Angua, it's for your own good) of the Discworld series.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Angua is a Captain of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, who rose rapidly in the ranks despite being the both the first woman and the first werewolf to join the watch. Did I mention she's a werewolf? I should have.

Hello, Atlantis! I'm Indigo and I was ~~shamelessly enabled~~ brought here by your dearest Abby.
I bring you two characters. The first is Shilo Wallace from Repo! The Genetic Opera; she's a sweet, if shy 17 year-old girl from a not-so-distant, polluted future. Most of her life has been spent shut in at home at the care of her father, Nathan. I'm bringing her from the end of the film, so I hope you can forgive her for being upset at first.

The second is an original character, Alice Pemberton (

preferstea). She is more or less from the same setting as doctor Jean-Pierre Descouteaux, another oc whom I have been told is already in the game. She's in her early twenties and she's really nice despite the thin layer of quips.

I may or may not have plans to bring you another Hatter of the "mad" variety at some point. Sometimes he goes by David. Most of the time, nowadays, he finds himself helping one Alice Hamilton.

Hi Atlantis! My name's Caitlin, and I'll be adding two new characters to the bunch here. First off is someone I've been playing for a little while, Arya Stark from A Song of Ice and Fire, or Game of Thrones (take your pick). Arya is the youngest daughter of the prominent Stark family in Westeros who longs to be a swordsman rather than the lady of a castle. She'll be coming from right after the events of Season 1 episode 'Lord Snow', right after her first 'dancing class' with Syrio Forel.

As far as the second character I'm bringing in, it's a completely new muse for me. I'm bringing you Kate Bishop/Hawkeye from Marvel Comics' Earth-616 universe. Kate is the first female to use the codename of 'Hawkeye' and fights alongside with the original, Clint Barton, as well as the new Young Avengers team. She'll be coming from after her appearance in the 2013 run of Young Avengers, Issue 1.
