Weeks 5 - 8

Hello again, Atlantis! As your mods, we want to make sure everyone is equally able to keep up to speed with the game, upcoming plots, plotting and everything that is going on! Feel free to use this post to plot, plan, mingle, ask questions, request NPC CR and whatever else you'd like.

Previously, we had chosen to do plotting posts every two weeks, noting various effects from the island. However, we realize that with the size and speed of the game, it would be better to spread things out a bit. We're going to try to do things in blocks of four weeks, so everyone can see the weather forecast for the upcoming weeks and has plenty of time to plot for events/island shenanigans when they come around, which should be roughly once a month. Events will also be lasting a bit longer to allow everyone to get more mileage out of them, rather than having to backdate or handwave things.

In the wake of Full Moon Fever and the Valentine's Day festivities, the next couple of weeks will be reasonably peaceful and uneventful, though stay tuned for an event to be announced for weeks 7 & 8.

Week 5
Slightly cloudy and cool.
The temperature will be in the 60-65F ~15-18C range
The night sky will feature: Unfamiliar star patterns.

Also, the market is open! Take the opportunity to visit, explore and meet new people!

Week 6
Tropical and sunny.
The temperature will be in the 80F ~ 27C range and humid, with no sign of ill weather.
The night sky will feature: Earth's constellations.

Week 7
Cold and overcast.
We'll be paying for that week of sun. Temperatures will hover around 48F/8C and dip lower at night. There will be heavy rain throughout the week.
The night sky will feature: Unfamiliar constellations, with two moons waning their way to crescent.

Week 8
Warm and sunny with scattered showers.
Temperatures will be around 72F/22C during the day and pleasantly cool at night.
The night sky will feature: Earth's constellations, though unseasonable, appropriate for late spring.

Each time this thread goes up it will have a series of sub threads for plotting purposes!

Exploration

Planning on going swimming in the ocean? Checking out the Ruins? Wandering the rainforest or mountains? Braving the caverns? If you want an idea of what your character will encounter, have ideas or just want some confirmation of what's around town, comment here. We're happy to plot with and work with you!

Merlin:
I want him to run across Marauding Magic sometime soon, if anyone in the HP wizard group is interested. He needs to meet all of them, Snape included.
Otherwise he has been living in one of the abandoned little house/huts whatever they are in the farm area and spending his days in the market, watching for anyone he knows.

Dean:
Has his Baby back and is thrilled about that. I'm not sure what all of his incoming castmates are showing up soon, but he's sure to have a lot of feelings he won't talk about, about all of that. He and Sam still need to patch things up but I'd love to get him some CR

Jefferson: Is mostly focusing on his daughter but he is also in market a lot trading for fabrics and food.

Isaac: Is following Scott around. Like a puppy. Sorry, Scott, you're just the first person to ever really actually look out for him in a long time

Snape definitely needs to meet Merlin, and Dean needs to meet his kid brother's mutant girlfriend (if Sam is okay with it). I would also love some Hunter Talks with Dean and Anita, she knows a lot about their situation already because of her friendship with Sam. Dean also has Jo coming in near the end of the week!

I would love to get some CR with Isaac, too. Connor could use some friends around his age but he's sort of a pill. >.>

Scott doesn't mind Isaac following him around! He'd rather stick close to someone he knows and trusts. They could even be room mates or could nab neighboring apartments or something, if you want.

Anita will be keeping an eye on Grace now and then and be discussing potential pets with Jefferson. She has possibly already gone on a date with Charles? Things need to happen there. Will be continuing her Sirius Talk with Mr. Black, and as usual, she's available to help any newcomers settle in should they need it. I believe there are also plans for her to meet Dean properly, since they've only talked via phone, and I would love for her to spend more time with little brother Sam. Sammy, any interest in taking the dogs down to the docks together? Also probably insisting on helping Bro settle somewhere if he hasn't already. Bro, live nextdoor to her.

Sleeping on Alisha's couch, and working with her to help her set up her bar, where he'll also be working as a bouncer. He makes regular trips into the rainforest, but hasn't gone too deep since he caught a glimpse of Sally. He needs more friends!

I'll be continuing her backdated thread with Buffy, but I would love for them to meet in person. Her illness will be progressing this month.

She just got here, but she's working on fixing up one of the houses for Henry and herself, likely somewhere near the schools. Regina's no longer with us, so Emma won't be letting Henry out of her sight. She'll also be meeting up with Jefferson to discuss the breaking of the curse in the very near future and be sniffing for traces of poison. :D

She and Sam had a weird clash during the Full Moon Fever event, though they seem to have made up on Valentine's Day, or at least placated each other with candy. I would love for them to talk about their issues more in-depth, which could lead into the other unfortunate things we have planned, Abby? Also, she needs to meet Dean. Otherwise, she can usually be found sticking pretty close to her brother.

Snape doesn't have much going on right now. I'd like him to do some more butting of heads with the Marauders, as well as learn that James is here, as he currently has no idea. I would also love for him to meet Merlin!

More things with little Loki -- I think their initial thread is about to be wrapped up, but I would love to do something domestic with them soon, if Roni is interested? He'll also be around with all of the Avengers and prepped to do Avenger things, and I think that a trip to the mountains with Merida is overdue. He'll be helping with the heavy lifting for Alisha's tavern bar!

Loki will be moving back and forth between mountain dwelling and city the next few weeks, so it is possible for him to be spotted, especially amongst the market place.

Maybe he finally should meet some people... hopefully his lumberjack of a brother stopped looking for him.

Grace will be spending a lot of time with her father but there's also school and whatnot. It'll do her some good to meet new people; she needs all the friends. She might be getting a bunny soon .3.

Sam had a bit of a meltdown with both Dean and Raven due to the full moon event. He still needs to make amends with both of them, and let's face it, chocolate doesn't fix everything. His life is going to suck for a while.

Killian will be doing piratey things. If you've lost anything valuable, you might want to check the hold of his ship. He can't focus on his only long term goal here, so he might pass the time in one of the bars and let all the ladies experience just what he can do with one hand. Wink wink nudge. Also annoying Emma might be a top priority.

Prussia will keep on being awesome and avoiding sunlight for a while. Going to the beach some time ago made him Kentucky fried.

Alisha will be getting her bar set up and hopefully opened by the end of the month (special thanks to anyone and everyone who will be doing the physical labor instead of her). Other than that, I think she'll just be checking in on open feeds, seeing what kinds of people she'll be living amongst (and doing a horrible job of not judging books by their covers, per the usual).

Also. Barry. She and Simon definitely need to chat it up some more, at the very least.

As I mentioned in the Exploration thread, Meriderp will be going around and spending most of her days exploring. She'll also practicing her archery a bunch, and in general, just settling into living without her mother-ordained-routine.

Lastly, I hope to throw the ever adorkable Milo James Thatch in sometime this month. Please kick me in the pants if I forget to.

I'm always open to all plotting and all kinds of CR, so hit me with your best shot. :)

Just the littlest, cutest, less crazy Loki. he's been running around with Merida and Thor most likely. he's been somewhat conversing with some of the Avengers that seem to know him without giving away... that he can't exactly remember where they know him from.

he's been running around the outskirts of the forest, possibly diving a little further, though he's somewhat weaponless and he's not exactly going to ask Thor to tag along. (though it's possible that they've tried to breech that before.) he's also been scouting around town. it's possible that he's run from people.

Spain - Needs to get into trouble with his friends. And also run into England. And also make some CR. KILLIAN how would you like a Spain sneaking onto your ship to investigate? And by sneaking I mean casually boarding while he eats his lunch and looking around the thing.

Henry - Emma! Also school and wandering around the island places he shouldn't be. I kind of want him to meet Killian, and also have tea with Grace?

Creedy - I need to get into gear with him I think. He'll bring some of his special black lable alcohol (160 proof, run while you can) around for Alisha to try and then possibly try to get a job if she still needs help

Wolf - is being a wolf and wandering around the rainforest.

Hanging out with Dean (and occasionally Anita) He should have the top floor of the apartments 'isolated' with its own power source and JARVIS to help keep out too close of a watchful eye by the end of week 6. Other than that, I am really open to more cr/avenger ideas.
