Sup. I'm Kimmie and Forest and Spy and like three other people enabled me here. I like me some tragic characters. So I'm bringing in Godric from True Blood, Beatrice Baudelaire from A Series of Unfortunate Eventspoisondarts, and Sansa Stark from A Song of Pain and Crying into Your Cherios songsandstories.
Godric is from after he died. So he just met the sun. He's a two thousand year old vampire who is tired of his species. He is pretty much the most un-vampire you'll ever meet. He's also Eric's maker, and another vampire we just met in s5 named Nora. As a human he was Gaullic, his people more tribe like. He has a bad past with becoming a vampire, and pretty much believes he can't be redeemed.
Beatrice Baudelaire also is from post-death. She was pretty much kidnapped into this secret society that is more an allegory for society as a whole. She was a part of some of it's best years and also it's decline. There was a schism, it went badly. She was also the lover of Lemony Snicket before marrying her husband. Every book has an ode to Beatrice, and they are all horribly depressing. Her children are the protagonists of the series. We never actually see her in the books, but we know a lot about her between The Unauthorized Autobiography and the Beatrice Letters.
