The Devil Inside

During weeks 21 & 22 (June 9th through June 23rd), a very unique sort of plague will be sweeping its way across Atlantis in the form of the Croatoan virus. The virus is bloodborne and demonic in origin, requiring blood-to-blood contact to spread. Those who are infected will behave as though possessed, retaining their normal personalities, thoughts and memories until the ideal moment to strike arrives, at which point they will feel compelled to spread the virus to those who are not yet infected – in most cases, violently.

Events of note of the past four weeks:

Kronos epanastatis is now wandering openly around the island, though he hasn't revealed who he is to anyone yet.
Dex the Raptor dexignated now knows how to use the network.
Admiral hull  opened up a hospital and started hiring staff for both the Hospital and the Justice Center
Mor'Du joined the ranks of Atlantis' NPC creatures.

Week 21-22
Hope you enjoyed the brief respite from horror and terror because the next two weeks will be a literal hell. Lucifer ( callme  ) has brought the Croatoan Virus to Atlantis and it's going to start spreading like wildfire, turning people on each other. Your best friend, brother, parent or neighbor might be infected, and you wouldn't even know it right away. If you're lucky enough to not be infected, you get to deal with the fallout.

At 11:59 PM on June 23rd, anyone who is infected that has not been killed during the event will succumb to the virus and die, only to wake up in the catacombs three days later on the morning of the 26th. Anyone who is killed during the course of the event itself will wake up in the catacombs on the 24th.

Week 21: 
6/9 - 6/15
Cold front comes rolling in with the virus
The temperature will be in the 50F ~ 10C range
The night sky will feature: A blood red moon, full moon on Saturday. Earth constellations


Week 22: 
6/16 - 6/22
Colder, gloomy, dark skies, cloudy and damp.
The temperature will be in the 40-50F ~ 4-10C range and damp
The night sky will feature: Blood red moon, full moon on Sunday, Earth constellations


Week 23:
6/23 - 6/29
Warming up but still cloudy.
The temperature will be in the 60-70F ~ 15-20C range and humid/cloudy
The night sky will feature: Earth constellations, waning moon


Week 24:
6/30 - 7/6
Warm, pleasant weather
The temperature will be in the 75F ~24C range with a gentle breeze, blue skies and white fluffy clouds
The night sky will feature: Familiar stars and early summer weather.

I already detailed all of my kids' plans for the Croatoan event over on the event post, so I'm just going to link that here! That should give people a general idea of where most of them are. If anyone wants to play with any of them during the event, let me know!

Jo has a catch-all post up for week 21, for anyone who wants to get themselves infected by her! Connor smells something funny around town.

Following Christine's example and linking what my kids are doing for the Croatoan plot. The only amendments I can think of pertain to Merida; she'll be part of the first wave that's infected (mostly because I fear I'm too slow of a tagger to have someone else infect her first and do more with her after that), and as it stands, Clint will be the one to kill her.

Once it's clear that the virus is going around, Plaid will be temporarily closed until the end of the plot.

On June 20th, Alisha will be vanishing into thin air and will return a few days later. Kronos is going to be an ass and take her down into the underground caverns, and through vivid dreams/hallucinations, have her live her canon death (I did the math to figure out a reasonably correct date, hence the specificity). FUN TIEMZ ON ATLANTIS, RIGHT GUYS?

Aaaand I've nothing in particular planned for any of my characters for after the plot. So if anyone has anything they've been itching to do with them, let me know! I'll be happy to throw them anywhere and at anyone.

SO.

I finally think I am going to attempt to integrate the characters into the game, except I haven't a clue where to begin for the two recluses.

Loki had spent the last... what was it, 2 months? Reading books in the library. He's finished with his sponging of reading materials and may be ready for more exploration.

Lindsey.... I have no idea. Is Darla still human? If she got vamped... orz. I don't know. Help?
