 Since we've had so many new players and new characters arrive in the past couple of months, it's time for everyone to get to know each other a little better! And so, in the spirit of such an effort, we present you with the following meme!


 

TEN FACTS MEME

The rules are simple:

- Post a comment for each of your characters!
- Include ten (or more!) facts about them that other people might not know.
- Nothing is too insignificant! Every detail offers some kind of insight.

1. She loves reading, learning and books. Without Harry and Ron, she might have become a reclusive scholar, though I'm sure she still would have championed causes like House Elf Rights etc..
2. You won't find a subject at Hogwarts that she doesn't excel at aside from Divination. But that's because she detests it and its lack of logic. (This might have something to do with the teacher, though she now accepts that Trelawney does experience visions/prophecies sporadically. Not enough to make her a good teacher, but that's another thing entirely.)
3. She prefers cats over dogs. Her pet half-cat/half-Kneazle Crookshanks is her baby. During the war, she protected him alongside her parents by sending all of them to Australia after wiping her parents' memories (and giving them another surname).
4. When she was twelve, she was almost Sorted into Ravenclaw, but the Sorting Hat noticed that spark of bravery in her and Sorted her into Gryffindor instead.
5. After the end of the war (if she survives), she wants to enter the Ministry of Magic and revamp/fix the laws that make those like House Elves, Centaurs, Werewolves and Muggleborn second best in the Wizarding World.
6. She is deathly afraid of heights.
7. Remus Lupin, Sirius Black and even Albus Dumbledore consider her to be very bright. In the words of the former two, she is the brightest Witch of her age.
8. One of the spells that she is known for is her Bluebell Flames. The name kind of gives it away. She used them during her First Year to distract Professor Snape during the Quidditch Match.
9. Her Patronus is an otter.
10. Her birthday is on September 19th, which is why she seems older than Harry and Ron. (Since the Hogwarts Express leaves for Hogwarts on September 1st, she couldn't board it before her 11th birthday. Thus she had to wait an extra year, making her 12, when she boarded the train. Not that she knew about Hogwarts beforehand.)
