You're in for a dangerous and terrifying few weeks, Atlantis. I hope you enjoyed your vacation while it lasted because HERE THERE BE DRAGONS. And he's not the friendly sort our current local dragons happen to be.

Atlantis Weeks 13-16


The Wrath of Olympus
Week 13 - ??
Week 13 has arrived, and with it, a horror is about to be unleashed that will change the face of the island forever. The Bull Dragon (Reign of Fire) that has been sleeping in the base of Mt. Olympus has awoken, and with him, hell on Atlantis has been unleashed. This massive flying beast breathes fire and eats ash. The chemicals it secretes from its mouth ignite on exhale for a powerful flame, and it's skin is like armor. It rules the sky, sees great in the day and even better at night. It only lives to burn.

IF YOU R CHARACTER LIVES IN OURANOS... our apologies. The dragon will be claiming the Ouranos summit as its new home. Ouranos will burn, and nearly everything within that district with it.  If you have questions, or want to know more, make full use of the comment headers below! This is a VERY PLAYER ACTIVE Event. The Dragon WILL be alive and undefeated for the first week, but what happens after that is up to how interactions with fireandash go and where you guys take it. Quinn ( sawthefirst ) and Creedy (whitejediknight ) are familiar with this beast and might be able to offer insight to others. There will be a log for the Dragon that goes up after his awakening in week 13, and a second log in week 14. Feel free to participate in this as much or as little as you like.

OURANOS is also known as the farm district. I.e. it is the source for almost all of Atlantis' non seafood meats and produce and it is being burned to the ground. Not living in Ouranos does not mean your character is unaffected. This event is going to massively change the face of Atlantis AND set back the growing season. Food will be scarce and the Atlanteans will be convinced the wrath of the gods is upon them. Things do not just 'reset' to normal when/if the dragon is killed. This is still a very real problem

Merlin and Balinor
These residences may be burned to the ground. Unless you wish to opt out.

Week 13: 
4/14 - 4/20
Warm weather and clear, sunny skies with little to no wind
The temperature will be in the 80F ~ 27C range and Dry
The night sky will feature: Earth Constellations


Week 14: 
4/21 - 4/27
Warm weather and clear, sunny skies with little to no wind
The temperature will be in the 80F ~ 27C range and Dry
The night sky will feature: Earth Constellations


Week 15:
4/28 - 5/4
Weather - Sweltering and Humid
The temperature will be in the 105F ~ 40C range
The night sky will feature: MORE SUN

All sun all the time. Sweltering hot heat and 24/7 Sunlight. In addition to making sleep really difficult, a sense of restlessness. If somehow your character does manage to sleep, their sleep will be full of very strange dreams.

Week 16:
5/5 - 5/11
Cool Weather and cloudy skies with fair winds
The temperature will be in the 41-50F ~ 5-10C range and drop to freezing
The night sky will feature: Unfamiliar stars, both the sun and moon this week are farther away and smaller in the sky.

Sunday will act as a full moon for any affected by that!

Haha, Loki, you old hermit. I'd love to CR him but I haven't yet figured out who to best approach him with... Also, I had a feeling Lindsey may be interested there.

Loki has no interest in mortals. He has no interest in immortals either, but he is willing to meet others of high intelligence. Approach him in a good mood and he won't mind conversing. I should put him out in the public again sometime.

But yes, more than likely Lindsey for this time.

High intelligence, huh.. *looks at character roster* Welp, that rules out most of my list. Not that they're stupid, but in Loki's eyes they would look that way. xD The most knowledgeable would be the angels, but Castiel may prove annoying because he is overly literal and also isn't that prone to idle chit-chat aka socializing for no reason. There is Michael, though he has archangel arrogance if provoked. Peter could always pop up in Loki's general vicinity via teleportation for an accidental hello. IDK I'll just attack you with someone randomly at some point when I have the chance. :3

Yeeaaaah... I can see Loki getting annoyed by Castiel fairly quickly, though Michael might prove interesting, though a short meeting that would be. Loki has his own short temper too. :\

I could have been most specific. My bad. XD Peter Petrelli from Heroes. I am just adding him in, as well. Not sure if you've seen Heroes... There are people with "abilities" that they discover so sort of think X-men, without the school and spandex. He's something of a superpower sponge. His super power is that if he's anywhere near anyone else with a power, he gains their power. Nice for him.. He has quiiite a few from where I'm pulling him in. I could list them all, but you might cry a little at how much of a godmod he would be if he wasn't such a nice guy. ¬_¬;

I have.... the series and the dvds sit on the shelf behind me.... but I never watched them? ^^;; I think I know who he is though. From years of RP. XD

Does that work for supernatural creatures and magic too? It'd be interesting if he absorbs magic from Loki... or turns super strong near Thor. Actually, Loki would be very intrigued by that man.

Ack, sorry this is so late! Hahaha, well, the first several seasons are really good, so I'd recommend you get around to watching them some day. ;P

The only persons with "powers" he meets in the show are other superhumans (again, just think X-men), so I was going to leave that up to the other players to decide if Peter could absorb powers from their characters or not. I'd be very interested in having them meet, regardless of if he could learn anything from Loki.~ ^^
