This dork here is named Verserak (yes, I know, I regret nothing), and he's gonna come to a lost city near you!

Being a djinn, he can't just... appear and be done with it. He is tied to this. More specifically, he is tied to the ruby, and whoever has that? Becomes his master. So, yep, you get an ancient, magical slave HELPER SPIRIT.

Now, thanks to Eris (appletosser), instead of just ONE of those appearing on the island, there are up to FIVE. If they're all claimed, he'll be tied to a total of five masters, and he... won't really enjoy it, but HEY, it could cause chaos, and that was the point.

Does your character need magical abilities for this? Nope. None whatsoever. That's what he's there for. All your muse would have to do is to find one of those rubies, touch it, and BOOM. \o/ If they lose the ruby, however, they'll also lose control over him, so... um.

Okay, so. Versy is an A+ source for unsolicited advice, morally ambiguous conscience-pretense, and he loves DOING ALL THE THINGS, so Merida could have a lot of fun with that. Or maybe Baby Doll? I DON'T KNOW BABY DOLL'S CANON.

ON THE OTHER HAND, he is 5000 years old. HE HELPED BUILT CITIES IN MESOPOTAMIA. He speaks a metric ton of languages and really, really likes to nerd out about history. So, um. Your nerd could find my nerd and then they could nerd. Nerd nerd nerd.

Baby Doll is pretty morally obscure, so she'd fit that bill a lot better than Merida. XD Also, Suckerpunch is such a wonderful, inspiring movie despite the visual cheesiness of her imagined fight scenes. I highly recommend it. :>
